Ramsey Elshafei is the Founder and President of RE Development Solutions, Inc., a commercial real estate development and management firm headquartered in Lisle, Illinois. A lifelong resident of the western suburbs of Chicago, Ramsey attended Naperville schools before earning his Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Entrepreneurial Engineering from Western Michigan University, graduating with honors. His academic foundation in engineering and entrepreneurship shaped his vision for building a business that blends strategic innovation with operational excellence.
In 2015, Ramsey launched RE Development Solutions with a bold entrepreneurial goal: to grow his own business on his own terms. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its portfolio under management from $40 million across eight properties to more than $250 million spanning 30+ properties, encompassing nearly 2 million square feet of industrial, office, and retail space spanning six states. He has also spearheaded over $200 million in acquisitions, supported by a team that has grown from two employees at inception to a dynamic group of thirteen professionals.
Ramsey’s approach emphasizes client-centric service, investor confidence, and community engagement. He serves on the Board of Choose DuPage and is actively involved with the Fry YMCA, contributing to regional economic development initiatives and community service. His leadership style reflects a commitment to integrity, innovation, and exceeding expectations—qualities that have earned him recognition as a trusted partner in the commercial real estate industry.
