We are thrilled to introduce Jim Morgan, the newest addition to the RE Development Team. Joining us in July 2023, Jim brings a wealth of strategic experience in managing expansive and diverse real estate portfolios.
With a dynamic background in commercial real estate, Jim specializes in the strategic management of properties, with a keen eye for uncovering cost-saving opportunities and management efficiencies. His has an impressive record of overseeing over $225 million in lease, purchase, and sale transactions. Notably, he has orchestrated the build-out of more than 400,000 square feet of office space throughout the Western U.S.
Jim’s career spans pivotal roles, including serving as the Director of Corporate Real Estate for Waste Management, Inc., and as the Director of Enterprise Real Estate & Workplace Strategy for Alliant Credit Union. His expertise extends beyond corporate real estate, encompassing realms such as land development, production home building, and real estate investment. His dedication to professional growth is exemplified by his SLCR and MCR.w designations from CoreNet Global, along with being a licensed IL Real Estate Managing Broker.
Jim is an alumnus of the prestigious University of Chicago, holding a Bachelor’s degree in economics and a Master’s degree in Public Policy with honors. Amid his professional achievements, Jim also enjoys his role as a father of four and devoted husband to his wife, Beth. The Morgans actively contribute to their community as board members of Family Enrichment Chicago, reflecting their commitment to creating a positive impact.
Beyond his professional and community endeavors, Jim nurtures his passions. An avid ice hockey player, he finds exhilaration on the rink. Jim’s love for reading and exploring new destinations through travel further enriches his well-rounded persona.
In his current role with RE Development, Jim is excited to deepen his understanding of facilities and property operations, further enhancing his ability to drive strategic excellence in real estate development.
